  • 1 green apple

  • Water

Start by soaking your oats overnight. In the morning, when the oats are ready, cut the apple into large pieces and leave the peel on (just make sure it’s washed thoroughly). Put the oats and the water used to soak them along with the apple slices into your blender and add lemon juice. Blend well and drink up for breakfast.

Tip: you can add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and some berries into your smoothie if you like – this will make your smoothie taste sweeter and will boost the antioxidants content.

    I love to eat my oats with a lot of milk in it and I add sugar too does it takes away its effectiveness in controlling blood sugar levels in the body?
